Practice Description
My name is Dr. MaryHelen Gustafson and I have practiced physical therapy since 2009. I am traditionally trained in orthopedics, however, my pregnancies and postpartum experiences highlighted the need for more pelvic health providers. When I found the Institute for Birth Healing, I knew immediately this was the care I had desperately needed and did not receive. After training with Lynn Schulte at her Institute, as well as completing additional hours of pelvic health education, I am honored to be able to provide you with the well deserved healing and care that you and your baby need.
I believe that birthing people need more support and my passion is to empower and educate you surrounding your birth experience. Nurturing Wellness Physical Therapy is a holistic, patient-centered practice. Treatments are manual and exercise based with the tools to empower you to be an active part of your healing process. Treatment sessions are 60-90 minutes, or more, to ensure that we have substantial time together to create your personal plan. I offer virtual and mobile visits.
