Bio

Dr. Kelly (Cole) Whitsel grew up in western PA, graduated from Duquesne University with her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2002, then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2009. After a decade of orthopedic and inpatient physical therapy, she pursued advanced training in pelvic health physical therapy to treat pelvic floor dysfunction and provide peripartum care. Dr. Whitsel also became a board-certified health and wellness coach because she is passionate about helping women, especially busy moms, improve their health. Having 4 kids of her own (delivering one at age 41), Dr. Whitsel has experienced both c-section and VBACs and understands many of the joys and challenges of childbirth and beyond. In addition, she has extensive experience treating men with pelvic floor dysfunction and values the opportunity to play a part in their healing journey. She enjoys biking, all things gut health, going for walks, doing life with her faith community, and taking a 5-week-long trip across the country with her family.
